Adjudication Panel for the First Annual
Vancouver Island Film, Video & New Media Festival
August 18 ~ 21, 2000
The mandate of the festival is to give an opportunity for student work and amateur media-makers to be seen by people who may be able to "make a difference" in a young person's career. With this in mind, the adjudication panel has been selected to include representation from all phases of the media industry.
This panel includes actors, producers, musicians, journalists and media executives - a diverse group, but all have one thing in common: they have risen to the top of their profession, and they are willing to take time to give a helping hand to newcomers in the field.
Thus, we would like to thank the members of the panel for attending the VIP screening Friday August 18 to choose the winning entries.
