Computer Master
will conduct an hour and a half workshop/demonstration on Traditional and Digital Animation with Milton Samis.

This seminar will begin with a brief description of animation and digital animation, examples of student animation, and hands on instruction of animating with a Digital program. As the workshop is taking place, visitors will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss their insights. There will also be some discussion on: animation in film, animation on the web, and the future of animation Procedure This workshop will be interactive and informative, with the majority of the time spent in audience participation. The emphasis will be on animation principals and the growth of animation on Vancouver Island.

It is preferable that the visitors are able to walk freely, ask questions, and become involved with the seminar . Results This workshop should bring a greater understanding of animation, its simple execution, and its uses in production and postproduction . Graphical Aids All equipment and visual aids required will be supplied by Computer Master.

Bio Milton Samis
Milton Samis has 25 years experience as a graphic artist in several mediums from comic art to mural design. In 1998 Milton graduated from Computer Master with Honors in Graphics and Animation. In March 1999 Milton became a faculty member of Computer Master taking over as the Digital Animation Instructor. Milton has also taught several evening courses, including Flash Animation and Web Design.
