Saturday Aug. 19
(Noon- 2PM) Outdoor workshop: filming/videoing action sports. How to get the best shots safely, camera angles and lenses. At the SK8 Jam 2000 Rotary SK8 Park. hosted by Seaparc. Instructors from Computer Master.
Media workshop is free- just drop by the SK8 Park 6522 Throup Road by Journey Middle School.

(3:30- 5:30) Indoor workshop: "Trio & Triptych" media and the arts: Videoing flat art and 3D sculpture. Using the camera to give a feeling of motion from static objects. Hosted at Soiree Lane, Sooke
Free, but must pre-register. Limited to six participants.

(8:30-midnight) Live music at Fox's Grill.5449 Sooke Road
Multimedia workshop on using still photos and live video for promotion. How to get the shots without disturbing performers, (or getting thrown out by the bouncer!!) Protocol at live performances for the media. Demo for performer promotion and INTERNET broadcast.

2. (2:30-3:00) FREE Workshop: Capturing performers with still photography & digital camera. Use of live performance photos for promotion via Power Point & Flash, etc. Workshop by amateur freelance photographer & digital animator Linda Gordon.
