The Sooke Film Society is currently planning the Second Annual Film Festival, and will be accepting submissions starting April 15, 2001. Here are the rules: 1. Productions must be independently produced, with the filmmaker(s) retaining complete editorial control. Group and School projects are encouraged. 2.Productions may have been completed at any time, but date of creation must be stated. (Got an "oldie"?) 3. It may be any length, 30 SECOND new media spots to full length feature films. 4. It can NOT have porn or snuff content. "Adult" style may be considered if it is in "good taste". (If you are not sure, please mark "Adult theme" on the video as a warning.) 5. DEADLINE: JULY 1, 2001 6. Print out ENTRY FORM
ShippingCost of shipping and insurance both ways must be prepaid and covered by the entrant. Collect or COD shipments will NOT be accepted. Cassettes must be labeled with the title of entry and entrant's identification. All entries must be clearly marked, on the outside of the package: "NO COMMERCIAL VALUE -- FOR CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY" Customs declarations must indicate "NO VALUE" ($0). Entries arriving with duty/tax owing will be refused. Shipping by UPS, FEDEX, CAN PAR is acceptable IF all charges are pre-paid. You MUST put the PHONE NUMBER (250) 642-6745 on the courier delivered envelope-they will not deliver to P.O. Boxes, in this case a street address will be available.If you require notification of receipt of your entry, please include a self addressed, stamped postcard (foreign/US leave the stamp un-attached).
