Mel Dobres, film liaison to the Vancouver Island Film Association (VIFA) has been attending meetings in Nanaimo and Campbell River.
Productions have been scouting the Island, and the film industry has finally "discovered" our area! Look out for some major productions to be shooting around the area in 2002!
